S. N. Deshmukh has more than 28 years experience in Telecom Industries mainly with Indian Telecom Operators. His career has started with DOT/BSNL as a ITS officer in Oct, 1989 . He worked for 20 years in BSNL in different capacities with hands on in Optical fiber, MW, wireline and 2G / 3G mobile technologies. He was instrumental in launching BSNL mobile services in Maharashtra and Goa state.

In 2009, he joined as a CTO Telenor, Maharashtra and Goa circle for launching the mobile services of Telenor India. Under his leadership; Telenor has  launched the mobile service in just six month time.  AS  a CTO, he has  provided excellent support to the business growth by high  operational efficiency, with agile Network expansion and by exercising effective control on  Capex and Opex for ultra low cost operation.
